When Armando Avellaneda came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Rusticos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Avellaneda couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Oihan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 16 minutes Mojotoro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Timoteo Lesardo who took care of the corner kick. In the 18th minute of the match Rusticos FC got a corner. Mojotoro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Timoteo Lesardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Armando Avellaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Oihan having to interfere. Danilo Tonete might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Inautzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Tonete ran back to his position shaking his head. When Danilo Tonete came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Mojotoro fans jumped to their feet. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danilo Tonete was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Tonete in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Inautzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Rusticos FC's zone, Danilo Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Inautzi came out of the goal and Danilo Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Tonete struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Aquilino Inautzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mojotoro. After 81 minutes, Honorato Jakue mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mojotoro and the Rusticos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Mojotoro got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Jakue. After some careless play in the Rusticos FC defense, Honorato Jakue kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Inautzi. The Rusticos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Inautzi should have stopped the shot. Aquilino Inautzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
