Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arrecifes's Christian Luzaide started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Arrecifes's zone, Ruperto Gonzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The supporters of joaco AFC booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Martxelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, joaco AFC's Ruperto Gonzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Corderun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Ruperto Gonzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Corderun. Arrecifes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruperto Gonzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 33 played minutes Arrecifes got a freekick which was hit by Severino Tavio. 36 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Gonzo came free, but Generoso Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Gervasio Dodorol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. joaco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Dodorol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Carolo Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
