The referee ignored Escarto FC's protests and gave Salvador Mouricio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Escarto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Mouricio to maneuver through the defense. Escarto FC's Joel Urki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Pere in the 9th minute of play. Timoteo Oton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Fermin Naelio made a huge save. Eduardo Leguizamón took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Urki. Joel Urki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Timoteo Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Barrionuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fermin Naelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eduardo Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Cristobal Barrionuevo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Pere couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escarto FC's goalkeeper Joel Urki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Jacobo Frances got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacobo Frances's late challenge caught a Escarto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Frances helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Escarto FC's Blas Eufrasio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fermin Naelio. That made the score 1-2 after 47 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Mariano Pere made the kick off in the second half. Joel Urki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Pere in the 55th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Chiefs's Mariano Pere slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joel Urki. That made the score 1-3 after 56 minutes of play. The supporters of Escarto FC booed when Chiefs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Jayvier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Naelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Oton in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Eduardo Leguizamón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Urki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. If Mariano Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Blas Eufrasio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escarto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Eufrasio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 minutes of play, Escarto FC's Blas Eufrasio made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Naelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salvador Mouricio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fermin Naelio. Chiefs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Timoteo Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Chiefs's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Eufrasio came free, but Fermin Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Blas Eufrasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes of play, Escarto FC's Blas Eufrasio made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Naelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Chiefs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chiefs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
