The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Sazon made a kick off. In the 55th minute Antonio Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Kemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Gustavo Omero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Iker Costas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Antonio Sazon rounded Trocha Ancha FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. When Paolo Herena fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trocha Ancha FC's protests and gave Paolo Herena a yellow card for diving instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Saca Chispas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
