Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Chiefs's Mariano Pere started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matias Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Naelio having to interfere. Fermin Naelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Che, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Frances during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 8 minutes, Matias Che managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Che was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Leguizamón might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eulalio Inge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Leguizamón ran back to his position shaking his head. Eduardo Leguizamón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Inge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Leguizamón, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Matias Che reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fermin Naelio. The goal made the score 2-0. Chiefs's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Matias Che 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. A collision led to Chiefs getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Maximiliano Flores hit a great ball. Herminio Silviano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's Ulises Ganix got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Mariano Pere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Fermin Naelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Silviano's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Maximiliano Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Matias Che came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Futbol Club Rio Cuarto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Che couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Silviano in the 67th minute of play forced Chiefs's goalkeeper Fermin Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Eduardo Leguizamón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eulalio Inge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Pere in the 70th minute of play. Eulalio Inge made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Eduardo Leguizamón sent off a good shot on target. When Herminio Silviano came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Futbol Club Rio Cuarto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Silviano couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, one of Chiefs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chiefs. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Futbol Club Rio Cuarto. Anibal Frans stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fermin Naelio. 4-0. Eulalio Inge made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Eduardo Leguizamón sent off a good shot on target. Herminio Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Silviano in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fermin Naelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
