After a defensive mix-up in Gasoducto's zone, Felipe Beat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Terciero came out of the goal and Felipe Beat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Prudencio Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gasoducto's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Joey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Esquipula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 28 minutes, Edelmiro Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gasoducto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Laoreo LP's Placido Esquipula got control of the ball when Norberto Bertol tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Gasoducto's Erasmo Chico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Placido Esquipula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Edelmiro Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Esquipula having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edelmiro Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. Placido Esquipula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Alvarez in the 55th minute of play forced Laoreo LP's goalkeeper Placido Esquipula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Esquipula having to interfere. A collision led to Gasoducto getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mateo Furman hit a great ball. Placido Esquipula was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 72 minutes into the match, Prudencio Joey notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Laoreo LP's Placido Esquipula. Placido Esquipula was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Romeo Terciero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Esquipula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Beremundo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Laoreo LP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaudencio Gaueko was slow to take the kick. During this time Gasoducto's players had a chance to rest. When the referee ended the match the Gasoducto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
