Ulises Sotero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Rainerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Severino Urtun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Severino Urtun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Sotero in the 96th minute of play forced Jogo Bonito FC's goalkeeper Basilio Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, Ulises Sotero fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Basilio Rainerio, passed just outside the right post. Coronda played a much better game than Jogo Bonito FC and deserved their victory. The Jogo Bonito FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
