The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Edelmiro Alvarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Urki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joel Urki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gasoducto. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Prudencio Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gasoducto's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Joey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Urki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Alvarez in the 15th minute of play forced Escarto FC's goalkeeper Joel Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Urki having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Prudencio Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gasoducto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Joey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Urki came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gasoducto's Prudencio Joey. But to his dismay, Prudencio Joey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Blas Eufrasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Terciero having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Gasoducto's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Timoteo Oton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Romeo Terciero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Eufrasio in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edelmiro Alvarez was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Gines was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escarto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gasoducto the free kick. The supporters of Gasoducto booed when Escarto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Gines didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 minutes Escarto FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaudencio Gaueko who took care of the corner kick. Salvador Mouricio tried in the game's 54th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Joel Urki. An annoying self made goal, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Oton in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Terciero saved Gasoducto from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Eufrasio in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. Diego Honesto kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Timoteo Oton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Romeo Terciero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edelmiro Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Urki having to interfere. With a little luck, Escarto FC's Joel Urki got control of the ball when Prudencio Joey tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Prudencio Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Urki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Alvarez in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Escarto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Alvarez came free, but Joel Urki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Gasoducto players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
