Gustavo Omero might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Naelio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Omero ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximiliano Flores hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Saca Chispas's Moritz Zyazikov tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximiliano Flores during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Eduardo Leguizamón came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Chiefs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Leguizamón couldn't finish the play. Chiefs's Fermin Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Sazon in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

But to his dismay, Gustavo Omero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Chiefs's Fermin Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Omero in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Deportivo Saca Chispas were the better team. Deportivo Saca Chispas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
