Placido Esquipula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Eufrasio in the 16th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Escarto FC's Placido Esquipula threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Blas Eufrasio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Timoteo Oton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Placido Esquipula having to make a save. In the 32nd minute Joel Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Urki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Beat in the 34th minute of play forced Escarto FC's goalkeeper Joel Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joel Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 40 minutes, Joel Lidon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laoreo LP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Lidon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Beat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Joel Urki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Esquipula having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Lidon was the one to do the kick off. Laoreo LP's Joel Lidon got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Timoteo Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Joel Lidon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joel Urki, passed just outside the right post. Joel Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Joel Urki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Felipe Beat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joel Lidon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joel Urki came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Lidon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 70th minute. Timoteo Oton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Esquipula having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Laoreo LP's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Eufrasio came free, but Placido Esquipula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felipe Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Escarto FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Laoreo LP for a fine match.
