Escarto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benítez the free kick. Blas Eufrasio struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Joaquin Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escarto FC. Joaquin Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Oton, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Benítez booed when Escarto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Barrionuevo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Timoteo Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Filiberto Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Urki having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Eneas made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Nestor Eneas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benítez's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Eneas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Urki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Escarto FC's Joel Urki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Eneas in the 67th minute of play. Joel Urki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Eneas in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Benítez's Filiberto Cordarryl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Urki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 77th minute, Nestor Eneas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Honesto was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a defensive mix-up in Escarto FC's zone, Nestor Eneas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Urki came out of the goal and Nestor Eneas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Escarto FC's Timoteo Oton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Veremundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Benítez's goalkeeper Joaquin Veremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Oton. After a defensive mix-up in Benítez's zone, Timoteo Oton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Veremundo came out of the goal and Timoteo Oton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Adrian Transito was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 98 minutes had been played. Adrian Transito kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Escarto FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Benítez.
