Spectators: 7178 (Terracing: 5531, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 147) 4 minutes into the match, Los Cucarachos's goalkeeper Prospero Mirande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Foro. Newfire F.C's Justo Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Etxatxu in the 6th minute of play. If Erubiel Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Foro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Prospero Mirande 9 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes Newfire F.C got a freekick which was hit by Mario Foro. If Erubiel Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospero Mirande made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Jonatan Arias sent off a good shot on target. Erubiel Remigio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Prospero Mirande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Elija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Victoro in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Los Cucarachos's goalkeeper Prospero Mirande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erubiel Remigio. When Amancio Ilazki fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Cucarachos's protests and gave Amancio Ilazki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Cucarachos getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Amancio Ilazki hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Newfire F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Victoro came free, but Justo Elija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Cucarachos's Herminio Victoro got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Los Cucarachos's zone, Justo Tanio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Mirande came out of the goal and Justo Tanio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Mario Foro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prospero Mirande was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. If Erubiel Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Foro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Mirande having to interfere. Newfire F.C's Erubiel Remigio got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Venerando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Prospero Mirande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Foro to strike the kick off in the second half. Erubiel Remigio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Los Cucarachos got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Ilazki. Arnoldo Bixintxo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mario Foro sped through Los Cucarachos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prospero Mirande. Santos Etxatxu's late challenge caught a Newfire F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Etxatxu helped the player get up and apologised. Santos Etxatxu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Herminio Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Elija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Mirande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Foro's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Tadeo Cutberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Cucarachos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newfire F.C the free kick. After 77 played minutes Los Cucarachos got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Cutberto. After a defensive mix-up in Los Cucarachos's zone, Mario Foro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Mirande came out of the goal and Mario Foro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Erubiel Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erubiel Remigio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Prospero Mirande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute of the game, Lino Kimetz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Los Cucarachos's Santos Etxatxu got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Santos Etxatxu off the ground. Santos Etxatxu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Mario Foro put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Prospero Mirande. When the referee ended the match the Newfire F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
