The attack was good, but when Herminio Victoro in the 25th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Herminio Victoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Cucarachos's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Victoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Ekain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Independiente rey d copas's Santo Chorache got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Los Cucarachos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Richie to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Ekain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Victoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Herminio Victoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herminio Victoro to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Frisco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Prospero Mirande skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Prospero Mirande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Maria in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Maria in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Mirande saved Los Cucarachos from getting behind. If Herminio Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute of the match Dionisio Lidon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Ekain showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Herminio Victoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santo Chorache struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Prospero Mirande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente rey d copas. Ezequiel Ekain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Victoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Los Cucarachos's Higinio Santo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Independiente rey d copas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
