The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in LBP FC's zone, Severino Cefero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Tibalt came out of the goal and Severino Cefero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Agustin Karmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Tallia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Severino Cefero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Guaberto Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 74 minutes, Agustin Karmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Severino Cefero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palermo F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LBP FC.
