An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Jeraldo in the 6th minute of play forced Villaguay FC's goalkeeper Saul Oihan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Villaguay FC's Saul Oihan got control of the ball when Filomeno Millrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Anacleto Huly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villaguay FC's Edelmiro Nerio got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FABRIBOCA JRS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Armando Chuse hit a great ball. Edelmiro Nerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Mitxaut having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Ignacio Leoiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Mitxaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Nerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Millrick in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Saul Oihan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Villaguay FC's Edelmiro Nerio got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacio Leoiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Nerio in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Nerio in the 33rd minute of play forced FABRIBOCA JRS's goalkeeper Francisco Mitxaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Oihan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filomeno Millrick went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ignacio Leoiar struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Francisco Mitxaut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villaguay FC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Ignacio Leoiar made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ignacio Leoiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Mitxaut didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 73rd minute of the match Alberto Abecia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saul Oihan skillfully saved the ball. Villaguay FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Camilo Brais in the 83rd minute. Francisco Mitxaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Leoiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Villaguay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Jeraldo came free, but Saul Oihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Jeraldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Oihan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After 94 played minutes, Villaguay FC's Camilo Brais shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Mitxaut came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villaguay FC reached it. FABRIBOCA JRS's Nunez Maurin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 99th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Villaguay FC. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
