After some careless play in the Borghi defense, Higinio Daunte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amancio Loi. The Borghi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Loi should have stopped the shot. Oscar Esdras took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Micael. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Elpidio Amato managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZionTeam's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Amato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Loi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amancio Loi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ZionTeam's zone, Oscar Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Micael came out of the goal and Oscar Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Esdras who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Benedicto Micael when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Elpidio Amato fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZionTeam's protests and gave Elpidio Amato a yellow card for diving instead. 74 minutes into the match, Baltasar Pacifico sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Benedicto Micael threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Baltasar Pacifico this time. Aristides Lucero hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Oscar Esdras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
