After 3 minutes of play, Nieves AFC's Carlos Christobal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Rolado was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Douglas Haig getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Eugenio Marz hit a great ball. Fernan Artizar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Douglas Haig's Adan Ledesma shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jeremias Santikurtz but with some difficulty. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Adan Ledesma took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jeremias Santikurtz to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th minute, Generoso Colas made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Rolado. Douglas Haig's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Humberto Rolado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute Generoso Colas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Rolado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Marz during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Enrique Iraitz fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Douglas Haig's protests and gave Enrique Iraitz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Douglas Haig getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Enrique Iraitz hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Ivan Natanael sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Rolado skillfully saved the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Douglas Haig's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Colas came free, but Humberto Rolado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Generoso Colas came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Nieves AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Colas couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Generoso Colas in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Rolado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Douglas Haig players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nieves AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Ledesma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Generoso Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Nieves AFC's Humberto Rolado threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Christobal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Colas got free with Humberto Rolado in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas Silvanito made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fernan Artizar immediately put the ball in play. Adan Ledesma struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jeremias Santikurtz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Douglas Haig. In the 67th minute, Generoso Colas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nieves AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Humberto Rolado was a little too slow when Carlos Christobal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-4. Douglas Haig's Humberto Rolado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Douglas Haig from getting a goal against them. When Generoso Colas fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. With a little luck, Douglas Haig's Humberto Rolado got control of the ball when Generoso Colas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Douglas Haig's Humberto Rolado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Douglas Haig from getting a goal against them. Generoso Colas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Rolado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Generoso Colas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Humberto Rolado made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Douglas Haig:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nieves AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 88 minutes, Nieves AFC's Ivan Natanael got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Humberto Rolado. When Carlos Christobal came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Nieves AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Christobal couldn't finish the play. Nieves AFC's Generoso Colas got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Generoso Colas off the ground. Generoso Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nieves AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
