Nunez Maurin made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eleuterio Jeraldo immediately put the ball in play. In the 23rd minute, Adan Ledesma made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Mitxaut. FABRIBOCA JRS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Humberto Rolado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Millrick in the 28th minute. Douglas Haig's Humberto Rolado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Douglas Haig from getting a goal against them. Eleuterio Jeraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Humberto Rolado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Ledesma in the 33rd minute of play forced FABRIBOCA JRS's goalkeeper Francisco Mitxaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Ledesma struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Francisco Mitxaut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Douglas Haig. Gervasio Rocendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Gervasio Rocendo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Mitxaut was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in FABRIBOCA JRS's zone, Adan Ledesma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Mitxaut came out of the goal and Adan Ledesma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Arsenio Raebert kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Gervasio Rocendo might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Mitxaut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Rocendo ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, Inocencio Hurko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisco Mitxaut, 0-3. Douglas Haig's Humberto Rolado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Millrick in the 61st minute of play. Gervasio Rocendo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Douglas Haig were furious when Arsenio Raebert was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Douglas Haig:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FABRIBOCA JRS:s goal. In the 77th match minute, Douglas Haig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Rocendo to maneuver through the defense. Nunez Maurin made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Justo Urti however managed to control. In the 85th minute of the match Benjamin Nofre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Mitxaut skillfully saved the ball. Adan Ledesma's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Francisco Mitxaut skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adan Ledesma got free with Francisco Mitxaut in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Mitxaut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Ledesma's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute Eleuterio Jeraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Rolado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Rolado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Jeraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Haig's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
