Nieves AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Christobal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amancio Loi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Generoso Colas went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Generoso Colas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Loi having to interfere. Jeremias Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Sedeni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amancio Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Christobal in the 36th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Nieves AFC's Amancio Loi threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Christobal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Amancio Loi was a little too slow when Carlos Christobal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Aristides Lucero kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. When Carlos Christobal came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Nieves AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Christobal couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Christobal was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Colas in the 53rd minute of play forced Borghi's goalkeeper Amancio Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Borghi's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Christobal came free, but Amancio Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Borghi defense, Generoso Colas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amancio Loi. The Borghi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Loi should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Christobal in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Loi saved Borghi from getting behind. In the 81st minute Carlos Christobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Carlos Christobal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Loi was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Borghi's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Colas came free, but Amancio Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Carlos Christobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amancio Loi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Nieves AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
