Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 10) Arturo Felipo made the kick off and thus started the match. Ignacio Leoiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gaspar Gabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Rioja hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Felipo in the 12th minute of play forced Villaguay FC's goalkeeper Saul Oihan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Villaguay FC's zone, Valentin Niguel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Oihan came out of the goal and Valentin Niguel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Villaguay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Felipo came free, but Saul Oihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villaguay FC's Saul Oihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Niguel in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Villaguay FC got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Huly. Edelmiro Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Urtats's late challenge caught a Villaguay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Urtats helped the player get up and apologised. Arturo Felipo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Oihan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Generoso Jurdan kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match.

If Valentin Niguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Anacleto Huly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Gabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Urtats hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valentin Niguel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st play minute Valentin Niguel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Saul Oihan. 1-1. Valentin Niguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Tabby might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saul Oihan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Tabby ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Villaguay FC's Ignacio Leoiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Gabon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Camilo Brais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villaguay FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monsalvo AFC the free kick. In the 91st minute, Camilo Brais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes Monsalvo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Felipo. When Ignacio Leoiar came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Villaguay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Leoiar couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
