In the 29th minute Luciano Behe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Old Etonians F.C's zone, Mauro Abeitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Benvido came out of the goal and Mauro Abeitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Rodrigo Benvido managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Chancaní's Luciano Behe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Old Etonians F.C's zone, Luciano Behe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Benvido came out of the goal and Luciano Behe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tadeo Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Nevada charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Nevada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Tadeo Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chancaní's Luciano Behe got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Nevada in the 75th minute of play forced Chancaní's goalkeeper Santo Clodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Mauro Abeitia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigo Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
