He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villaguay FC reached it. If Urbano Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Nieves AFC's Urbano Montrelle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Oihan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Aquilino Segio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saul Oihan. Villaguay FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Villaguay FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Generoso Jurdan hit a great ball. Saul Oihan was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Urbano Montrelle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Urbano Montrelle really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 26th minute Edelmiro Nerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Santikurtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Fabio Quintin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saul Oihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Montrelle in the 30th minute of the match. Ignacio Leoiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jeremias Santikurtz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Ivan Natanael from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Saul Oihan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 47 minutes into the match, Villaguay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Montrelle came free, but Saul Oihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Nieves AFC's Fabio Quintin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Oihan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Ignacio Leoiar made the kick off in the second half. Saul Oihan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Oihan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Montrelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Fabio Quintin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saul Oihan having to make a save. Saul Oihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Quintin in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79thth minute of the game Urbano Montrelle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villaguay FC's Saul Oihan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saul Oihan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Quintin in the 85th minute of play. Saul Oihan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Leoiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
