The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ubaldo Valiente was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. In the 19th match minute, Metrotel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Valiente to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Ulises Acuña sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Nesor skillfully saved the ball. Emiliano Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Seguinus, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ulises Acuña's late challenge caught a Metrotel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Acuña helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Saucecito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Acuña to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Ugutz was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Melchor Veto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Melchor Veto really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Seguinus was the one to do the kick off. Emiliano Ugutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Kimetz in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Metrotel got a corner. Saucecito AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Melchor Veto ran over to the corner to take the kick. 65 minutes into the match, Diego Seguinus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Ugutz. Saucecito AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Seguinus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 72nd minute, Diego Seguinus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Metrotel's Diego Seguinus got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Aldo Quin came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Saucecito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Quin couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Saucecito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Seguinus came free, but Emiliano Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Marz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Hondo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Ugutz. Emiliano Ugutz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 85 minutes of play, Metrotel's Arnaldo Hondo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Ugutz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Seguinus in the 98th minute of play forced Saucecito AFC's goalkeeper Emiliano Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Metrotel were the better team. Metrotel's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
