The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benito Jurgi to strike the kick off in the second half. Basilio Nesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Jurgi in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Eugenio Hechter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laborde AFC and the Metrotel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Laborde AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Metrotel:s goal. The goalkeeper, Teofilo Pueblo, was totally fooled by Metrotel's Melchor Veto, who 55 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Gualterio Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Metrotel's Gualterio Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofilo Pueblo stood somewhat misplaced when Gualterio Palos came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 63 minute. After 79 played minutes Metrotel got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Frisco. Benito Jurgi struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. In the 91st minute Gualterio Palos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Metrotel played a much better game than Laborde AFC and deserved their victory. The Laborde AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
