The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislao Roano was the one to do the kick off. Saul Esquipula made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Gualterio Palos sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, Gimnasia y Esgrima LP could leave the field as winners, despite Metrotel having more of the ball for most of the match.
