Severiano Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Ofelio having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, El Pirsuit's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Maurin came free, but Eusebio Luar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes El Pirsuit's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eriberto Eutor who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Telma Darthes FC's corner Eriberto Eutor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eusebio Luar quite easily take care of the ball. Eusebio Luar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Horacio Maurin came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Telma Darthes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Maurin couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Derwin in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusebio Luar saved El Pirsuit from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in El Pirsuit's zone, Horacio Maurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Luar came out of the goal and Horacio Maurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimeno Derwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Matei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Horacio Ofelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Maurin kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Tadeo Maju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severiano Matei to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Jimeno Derwin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eusebio Luar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 55th match minute, Telma Darthes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Leoiar to maneuver through the defense. Telma Darthes FC's Horacio Ofelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Ticho in the 56th minute of play. If Horacio Maurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
