Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nestor Amaya got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Club Atlético La Plata booed when Sansinena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Tximitx didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Sansinena's Leopoldo Geleberto threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jesus Hondo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Francisco Clementi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Amaya in the 8th minute of play. Francisco Clementi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Amaya went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Prudencio Luken scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Clementi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucas Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Geleberto having to interfere. Leopoldo Geleberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Hondo in the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Jesus Hondo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leopoldo Geleberto. Jesus Hondo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santo Itzaina during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santo Itzaina hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesus Hondo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Sansinena's Lucas Tximitx made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Geleberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prudencio Luken was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Club Atlético La Plata's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lucas Tximitx took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Geleberto. Leopoldo Geleberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. After 60 played minutes Club Atlético La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Lorenz. Sansinena's Jesus Hondo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Geleberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesus Hondo went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Nestor Amaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Clementi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sansinena's goalkeeper Francisco Clementi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nestor Amaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Amaya got free with Francisco Clementi in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leo Florian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leopoldo Geleberto. Club Atlético La Plata's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leopoldo Geleberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Hondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lucas Tximitx came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Sansinena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Tximitx couldn't finish the play. Club Atlético La Plata's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
