The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when Nala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Zuberbühler FC's corner Dante Umea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Astor Norino quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Mariano Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nala FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Norino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Bixintxo in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustacio Kismi during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Nala FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Kismi. The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when Nala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Marques couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Everardo Etxeberri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ramiro Favila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Nataniel. Nala FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Fernando Bixintxo scored to the left of an out of position Astor Norino, making the score, 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Marques was the one to do the kick off. Ramiro Favila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Nataniel during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Sagrario got free with Ramiro Favila in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Zuberbühler FC's Ramiro Favila got control of the ball when Leonardo Sagrario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Sagrario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Ramiro Favila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Cirilo Lucila fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuberbühler FC's protests and gave Cirilo Lucila a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Lucila. After a defensive mix-up in Nala FC's zone, Fernando Bixintxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Norino came out of the goal and Fernando Bixintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nala FC's Astor Norino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Gamus in the 77th minute of play. Fernando Bixintxo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Astor Norino. Astor Norino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Nala FC's Leonardo Sagrario got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zuberbühler FC's Ramiro Favila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Marques in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Gamus in the 89th minute of play forced Nala FC's goalkeeper Astor Norino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Amadeo Gamus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramiro Favila was a little too slow when Mariano Marques got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 99th minute. The score was now 2-1. Nala FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
