After a defensive mix-up in lf4's zone, Candido Enol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Mercurio came out of the goal and Candido Enol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, lf4's goalkeeper Angel Mercurio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Sayvion. After 7 played minutes lf4 got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Baumar. A hard shot 9 in the game by Eleuterio Sayvion from a close distance when the talented Angel Mercurio managed to make a qualified save. lf4's players were relieved. Tadeo Baumar hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Sayvion got free with Angel Mercurio in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angel Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Club Almagro's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Aznaro came free, but Leandro Clis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Leandro Clis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Tomas Sindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amancio Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Almagro.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Segundo Aznaro was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Almagro's goalkeeper Leandro Clis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Almagro's Leandro Clis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Club Almagro from getting a goal against them. Leandro Clis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amancio Elizardo in the 77th minute.
