Victorio Derwin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Huasapampa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pastor Demesio came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Severo Lucero could save by the left post. 31 minutes into the game, Huasapampa's Pastor Demesio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severo Lucero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 39th minute Eleuterio Sergi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Umbruso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Delmar Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to La Vieja Confiable getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hermengildo Jayvier hit a great ball. Eleuterio Sergi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Umbruso having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Derwin made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Atilano Martxelin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Vieja Confiable and the Huasapampa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severo Lucero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Demesio's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Gaston Umbruso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Sergi in the 60th minute of play. Gaston Umbruso made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Miguel Iztal sent off a good shot on target. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaston Umbruso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Sergi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pastor Demesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Lucero having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Eleuterio Sergi managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Vieja Confiable's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Sergi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Umbruso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaston Umbruso made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Miguel Iztal sent off a good shot on target. Huasapampa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Eleuterio Sergi scored to the left of an out of position Gaston Umbruso, making the score, 1-2. La Vieja Confiable's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
