Victorino Frutos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Valentin Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rodeo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Melchor Artaldo hit a great ball. Valentin Maurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Frutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Damaso Ariando's late challenge caught a ETATE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damaso Ariando helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Damaso Ariando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, Carmelo Baldovino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ETATE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Baldovino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Rodeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Gaur to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Baldovino in the 51st minute of play forced Rodeo's goalkeeper Valentin Maurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Carmelo Baldovino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodeo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ETATE FC the free kick. The supporters of ETATE FC booed when Rodeo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Onofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodeo's Valentin Maurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Baldovino in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rodeo's zone, Carmelo Baldovino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Maurin came out of the goal and Carmelo Baldovino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnulfo Truylos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Raul Benitez made a huge save. With a little luck, ETATE FC's Raul Benitez got control of the ball when Arnulfo Truylos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valentin Maurin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmelo Baldovino's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Carmelo Baldovino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Maurin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Damaso Ariando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, ETATE FC's Raul Benitez got control of the ball when Arnulfo Truylos tried to sneak it across the goal line. ETATE FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rodeo for a fine match.
