Bazan FC:s German Platon showed great skill when he stopped Cosme Mirande:s penalty. The excitement rose when centralfc's Cosme Mirande after 24 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Bazan FC's goalkeeper to hold. German Platon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Victor Karmel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but German Platon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Victor Karmel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Naelio to make the kick off. The goalkeeper, German Platon, was totally fooled by centralfc's Cosme Mirande, who 53 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jacobo Romildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. German Platon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bazan FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Julio Salvidor hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bazan FC's German Platon got control of the ball when Jacobo Romildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. German Platon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for centralfc. In the 85th minute, Jacobo Romildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jacobo Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. centralfc's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Romildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Platon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Arsenio Sendoa came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the centralfc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Sendoa couldn't finish the play. centralfc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
