After 5 played minutes, La Vieja Confiable's Atilano Martxelin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Frichoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Vieja Confiable reached it. In the 10th minute, Esteban Chus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, LM United's Joaquin Chale got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, La Vieja Confiable's Wilfredo Peio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Esteban Chus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Severo Lucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Iztal in the 28th minute of the match. Esteban Chus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Severo Lucero made a huge save. If Edgard Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Eleuterio Sergi managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Vieja Confiable's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Sergi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Sergi to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute La Vieja Confiable were awarded a corner. Wilfredo Peio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led La Vieja Confiable's Wilfredo Peio to fire away a dangerous shot which David Frichoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Esteban Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Lucero having to interfere. Eleuterio Sergi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LM United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eleuterio Sergi 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. The LM United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Vieja Confiable's performance. The match ended with a win for La Vieja Confiable.
