Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victorio Derwin started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Silvio Haimar put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gaston Umbruso. Silvio Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Silvio Haimar came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Defensores del Tano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Haimar couldn't finish the play. Gaston Umbruso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Haimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Furman came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Huasapampa's Delmar Gutxi. But to his dismay, Delmar Gutxi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Silvio Haimar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaston Umbruso came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvio Haimar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Huasapampa's goalkeeper Gaston Umbruso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Odol. Gaston Umbruso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Santiago Enaut. Gaston Umbruso was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Silvio Haimar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvio Haimar really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Odol got free with Gaston Umbruso in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Joel Odol notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Huasapampa's Gaston Umbruso. Gaston Umbruso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Duardo in the 42nd minute of play forced Huasapampa's goalkeeper Gaston Umbruso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Huasapampa's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Haimar came free, but Gaston Umbruso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Odol was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Joel Odol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores del Tano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 57th minute of the match Marciano Maureo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Umbruso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Defensores del Tano booed when Huasapampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Gutxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Odol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gaston Umbruso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Silvio Haimar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huasapampa's Gaston Umbruso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaston Umbruso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Haimar's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Eustacio Abechuco scored 6-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Umbruso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Huasapampa getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Victor Quinteros hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Huasapampa defense, Casimiro Estebe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Umbruso. The Huasapampa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Umbruso should have stopped the shot. If Silvio Haimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, David Salomone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huasapampa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-3. Defensores del Tano's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
