Joel Odol started the match with the kick off. Pastor Belarmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Furman having to interfere. Joel Odol let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 7th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. 10 minutes into the match, Bazan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Haimar came free, but German Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Silvio Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores del Tano's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Haimar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Platon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bazan FC's German Platon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Bazan FC from getting a goal against them. Ruben Furman came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Bazan FC's Pastor Belarmo. But to his dismay, Pastor Belarmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Joel Odol struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. German Platon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores del Tano. German Platon made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Joel Odol sent off a good shot on target. German Platon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The supporters of Bazan FC booed when Defensores del Tano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Duardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Defensores del Tano's Silvio Haimar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind German Platon. German Platon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. German Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Defensores del Tano getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Eustacio Abechuco hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Naelio was the one to do the kick off. Ruben Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Naelio in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Silvio Haimar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. German Platon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. German Platon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Haimar's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Silvio Haimar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without German Platon having to make a save. In the 72nd minute, Joel Odol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. German Platon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 77th minute Silvio Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Fidel Cambranes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. German Platon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute Silvio Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Defensores del Tano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
