La Vieja Confiable's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INDEPENDIENTE F.C the free kick. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE F.C booed when La Vieja Confiable was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, La Vieja Confiable's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Abechuco came free, but Severo Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eleuterio Sergi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moises Maju was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After 46 minutes of play, La Vieja Confiable's Miguel Iztal made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. La Vieja Confiable's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Iztal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Maju breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Sergi in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moises Maju prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the match, Miguel Iztal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moises Maju. INDEPENDIENTE F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Iztal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Miguel Iztal took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moises Maju. Moises Maju dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Miguel Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in INDEPENDIENTE F.C's zone, Eleuterio Sergi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Maju came out of the goal and Eleuterio Sergi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
