Calvo FC's Laureano Kepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Joey in the 5th minute of play. Laureano Kepa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Fausto Quinteros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Kepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Luis Panpili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Victorino Txerran came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Galarza AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Txerran couldn't finish the play. Israel Intxixu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Quinteros in the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Baltasar Dalmau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calvo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Dalmau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Intxixu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute of the match, Fausto Quinteros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Israel Intxixu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Laureano Kepa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Panpili went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Quinteros to make the kick off. Fausto Quinteros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 minutes, Fausto Quinteros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calvo FC and the Galarza AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victorino Txerran might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Kepa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Romeo Fliz fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calvo FC's protests and gave Romeo Fliz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Calvo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Fliz to maneuver through the defense. Victorino Txerran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Panpili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Laureano Kepa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute of the match Octavio Ursino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laureano Kepa skillfully saved the ball. Fausto Quinteros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Israel Intxixu. Galarza AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Galarza AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galarza AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
