After having played for 13 minutes, Basilio Barto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Praga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Barto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Victorino Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Barto in the 28th minute of play forced Galarza AFC's goalkeeper Israel Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basilio Barto in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Israel Intxixu saved Galarza AFC from getting behind. Felix Joey hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Galarza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Barto came free, but Israel Intxixu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Galarza AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Sedeni to maneuver through the defense.

After 66 minutes, Evelio Vasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Praga FC and the Galarza AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
