In the 22nd minute, Romeo Fliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Damian Madeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Honorato Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Honorato Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Kepa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leandro Nalo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Pasión Redonda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Nalo couldn't finish the play. Honorato Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Kepa having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Honorato Veremundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Kepa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Pasión Redonda were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Nalo to make the kick off. If Honorato Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Calvo FC's Domingos Flores got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Romeo Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pasión Redonda's Honorato Veremundo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Nalo in the 63rd minute of play forced Calvo FC's goalkeeper Laureano Kepa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Baltasar Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Pasión Redonda's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Flores came free, but Dario Procopio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pasión Redonda's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Nalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Kepa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leandro Nalo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Pasión Redonda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pasión Redonda's Dario Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Quinteros in the 94th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
