Laureano Kepa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Refugio in the 18th minute of play forced Calvo FC's goalkeeper Laureano Kepa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Esquipula having to interfere. Romeo Fliz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Carlos Giro came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the La Rotula f.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Giro couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Honorio Refugio managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Rotula f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Refugio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Kepa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Calvo FC's Romeo Fliz got a free kick in the 39th minute. Laureano Kepa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Refugio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Carlos Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Esquipula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Quinteros in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorio Refugio was the one to do the kick off. If Carlos Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, La Rotula f.c's Robustiano Magdaleno got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fausto Quinteros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Calvo FC's protests and gave Domingos Flores a yellow card for diving instead. Domingos Flores hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Honorio Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Kepa having to interfere. After some careless play in the Calvo FC defense, Carlos Giro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laureano Kepa. The Calvo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laureano Kepa should have stopped the shot. After 75 minutes of play, La Rotula f.c's Carlos Giro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Kepa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laureano Kepa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Refugio in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of La Rotula f.c booed when Calvo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorio Refugio struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Laureano Kepa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Rotula f.c. After 89 minutes of play Calvo FC's Domingos Flores was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, La Rotula f.c's Alvaro Llorian got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Virgilio Edwardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Esquipula skillfully saved the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Calvo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Rotula f.c.
