The Cordona AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Silvano Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Procopio having to interfere. Dario Procopio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Abeijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Pasión Redonda's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Joseph came free, but Dario Procopio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Joseph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Estavan having to interfere. If Honorato Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cordona AFC's Aureliano Rolado got a free kick in the 38th minute. Pasión Redonda's Leandro Nalo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvano Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pasión Redonda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cordona AFC were winning 0-1.

A collision led to Cordona AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Faustino Haritzeder hit a great ball. When Leandro Nalo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Pasión Redonda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Nalo couldn't finish the play. Fabricio Koldobika kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Leandro Nalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Leandro Nalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pasión Redonda's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Nalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Estavan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leandro Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lisandro Estavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Estavan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorato Veremundo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lisandro Estavan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
