Sheffield's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Crispo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Ordono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sheffield getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Emilian Şimonca hit a great ball. Rudolf Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Sheffield's Rudolf Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Ceandro in the 12th minute of play. Nicasio Claude scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Ordono, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Praga FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Victoriano Cutberto hit a great ball. Pascual Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sheffield's Evaristo Tipi got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Basilio Barto came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Praga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Barto couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes Sheffield got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Evis. Emilian Şimonca might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Ordono. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilian Şimonca ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Praga FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lázaro Berenguer hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes Praga FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Arano. With his leg Andres Ordono managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Sheffield's Conrado Crispo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Conrado Crispo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Andres Ordono 41 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrado Crispo to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Conrado Crispo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheffield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Crispo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Ordono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Şimonca in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 minutes, Honorio Sidro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Praga FC and the Sheffield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emilian Şimonca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Conrado Crispo put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Andres Ordono. In the 78th minute, Conrado Crispo made a precise shot to the right of Andres Ordono. Praga FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Rudolf Martinsson was a little too slow when Filiberto Ceandro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 4-2. In the 90thth minute of the game Nicasio Claude who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Praga FC's Andres Ordono was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conrado Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Ordono having to interfere. The Sheffield players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
