He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Igor Monte. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorato Checa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Impacto FC's Osvaldo Argenis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Tulio in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Piarres got free with Osvaldo Argenis in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorato Checa got in the 70th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Igor Monte handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Jonas Jacob's late challenge caught a Cincomentario FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Jacob helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Jonas Jacob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute of the match Luisito Urko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Argenis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
