Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 15) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ildefonso Tauro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ovidio Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Perfecto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Chancay's Domingo Lain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Burni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramiro Henry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Selatse having to make a save. Chancay's Ovidio Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Henry in the 13th minute of play. Ramiro Henry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Selatse having to make a save. Joaquin Perfecto took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Selatse. Ovidio Selatse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Chancay's Ovidio Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Neto in the 24th minute of play. Turugun's Guillermo Burni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Turugun from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute Joaquin Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With 32 minutes on the clock, Paulo Odol commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 32nd minute, Paulo Odol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Txilar during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Turugun getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Luciano Txilar hit a great ball. Chancay's Ovidio Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Txilar in the 41st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Domingo Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chancay's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Lain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Burni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ramiro Henry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Selatse having to make a save. With a little luck, Chancay's Ovidio Selatse got control of the ball when Ramiro Henry tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Anacleto Blai in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Turugun's Marcial Soin. Marcial Soin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ovidio Selatse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turugun. If Joaquin Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Lain hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Domingo Lain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Turugun's Luciano Txilar got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Luciano Txilar off the ground. Honorio Blasco hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Joaquin Perfecto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Ramiro Henry came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Turugun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Henry couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Perfecto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ovidio Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Lain in the 90th minute of play forced Turugun's goalkeeper Guillermo Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Selatse came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Turugun's Joaquin Perfecto. But to his dismay, Joaquin Perfecto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. A hard shot 96 in the game by Ramiro Henry from a close distance when the talented Ovidio Selatse managed to make a qualified save. Chancay's players were relieved. Turugun's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
