When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Pastor Gelacio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Felipe Cordeal to make any attempt to save it. C.A.Colon De Santa Fe's Felipe Cordeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Colon De Santa Fe from getting a goal against them. When Domingo Cordarryl came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Jocolí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Cordarryl couldn't finish the play. Pastor Gelacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Felipe Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Colon De Santa Fe's zone, Domingo Cordarryl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Cordeal came out of the goal and Domingo Cordarryl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Leonardo Gar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Cordeal having to interfere. Aquiles Heriberto kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Angelo Jenaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Colon De Santa Fe and the Jocolí players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes C.A.Colon De Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Jenaro. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Gelacio was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, C.A.Colon De Santa Fe's Cayetano Dorio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pastor Gelacio in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Cordeal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingo Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Cordeal having to interfere. Domingo Cordarryl struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Felipe Cordeal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jocolí. Felipe Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Gelacio in the 77th minute of the match. If Pastor Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Leonardo Gar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jocolí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Colon De Santa Fe the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Cordarryl in the 89th minute of play forced C.A.Colon De Santa Fe's goalkeeper Felipe Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Cordarryl might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Cordeal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domingo Cordarryl ran back to his position shaking his head. If Domingo Cordarryl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Jocolí players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
