Mauro Oxarra struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Vladimiro Ostadar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boedo del sur. After having played for 14 minutes, Melquiades Jaunzuria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boedo del sur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Jaunzuria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Boedo del sur's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Procopio came free, but Froilan Sanchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PBTs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Victorio Bermund scored to the left of an out of position Vladimiro Ostadar, making the score, 1-0.

The wind increased when Fernando Procopio made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Jaunzuria in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Ostadar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute Melquiades Jaunzuria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Sanchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Procopio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 58 played minutes PBTs got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Joseph. Primitivo Joseph kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. During the 68th minute of the match Jacobo Isias completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jacobo Isias a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th minute, Jacobo Isias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Benigno Chorache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Jaunzuria in the 76th minute of play forced PBTs's goalkeeper Vladimiro Ostadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PBTs's Vladimiro Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Jaunzuria in the 77th minute of play. Patricio Bernal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Froilan Sanchez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 87th minute, Melquiades Jaunzuria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Benigno Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boedo del sur's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
