In the 3rd minute of the match, Gustavo Gil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelo Txatxu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Oscar Manilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Marcelo Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Gil in the 6th minute of play. Apolo Pelayo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Gustavo Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Txatxu having to interfere. Oscar Manilan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Txatxu having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Maximino Clis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Manilan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Marcelo Txatxu made a huge save. A hard shot 22 in the game by Oscar Manilan from a close distance when the talented Marcelo Txatxu managed to make a qualified save. TAKAWISHI's players were relieved. Oscar Manilan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Gil in the 25th minute of play. Maximino Clis was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Arsenal Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Maximino Clis hit a great ball. Hernan Nazario, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alfonso Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Oliverios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Oscar Manilan came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Arsenal Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Manilan couldn't finish the play. Oscar Manilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Marcelo Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Txatxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Manilan in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Hodei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAKAWISHI the free kick. In the 40th minute, Hermengildo Hodei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, TAKAWISHI's goalkeeper Marcelo Txatxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Manilan. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Ferman made a kick off. Oscar Manilan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Txatxu having to interfere. Oscar Manilan struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Marcelo Txatxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal Fútbol Club. In the 57th minute Saturnino Ferman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Arsenal Fútbol Club's Oscar Manilan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Txatxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 63 minutes into the match, Saturnino Ferman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfonso Ugutz, 1-1. Alfonso Ugutz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Oliverios in the 78th minute. After 82 minutes of play, Arsenal Fútbol Club's Oscar Manilan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Txatxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Carlos Oliverios fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TAKAWISHI's protests and gave Carlos Oliverios a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in TAKAWISHI's zone, Oscar Manilan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Txatxu came out of the goal and Oscar Manilan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Manilan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenal Fútbol Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
