After a rather tough play, Club Catigas's Romulo Rey got a free kick in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Club Catigas's Joaquin Jakue got control of the ball when Armando Cisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alonzo Ferman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Jakue. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 17th minute, Damaso Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timoteo Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Rico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Benedicto Barea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Moraleja FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Marcones. Timoteo Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Rico in the 28th minute of the match. Armando Cisco might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Jakue. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Cisco ran back to his position shaking his head. Alonzo Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Jakue having to interfere. Horacio Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Armando Cisco spun around in front of the goal 37 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Club Catigas's goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Ferman in the 57th minute of play forced Club Catigas's goalkeeper Joaquin Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Catigas's Joaquin Jakue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Ferman in the 59th minute of play. Armando Cisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Ferman, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Armando Cisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Jakue having to interfere. Delmar Abechuco charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmar Abechuco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Delmar Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timoteo Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Rico in the 94th minute of the match. Moraleja FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
