In the 54th minute of the match Emiliano Celipe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabricio Burni skillfully saved the ball. In the 56th minute, Severo Belarmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, Raíces was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Medina to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Danilo Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Danilo Lander fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabricio Burni, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Checa got free with Fabricio Burni in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabricio Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Lander, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 4-2 became the score in the 87th minute when Aristides Checa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Raíces's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Lander came free, but Fabricio Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
