Lorenzo Escobar scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Ledesma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Leoiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ledesma having to interfere. Martin Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Leoiar in the 10th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Club Altetico San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Nesor. After some careless play in the Club Altetico San Lorenzo defense, Lorenzo Escobar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Ledesma. The Club Altetico San Lorenzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Ledesma should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Ciro Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Tibalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Mirande hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Augusto Isias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Tibalt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Israel Tebaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ledesma having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Club Altetico San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Pelayo to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Derwin charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Derwin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruperto Derwin kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Damian Leoiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Tebaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Zacarias Ibañez came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the ExEmpleados Asociados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Ibañez couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Leoiar got free with Martin Ledesma in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raimundo Tibalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the match, Damian Leoiar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Martin Ledesma was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Damian Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Leoiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Martin Ledesma made a huge save. In the 74th minute, Angel Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind ExEmpleados Asociados's goalkeeper Raimundo Tibalt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Augusto Isias hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Altetico San Lorenzo's zone, Damian Leoiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Ledesma came out of the goal and Damian Leoiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Leoiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Martin Ledesma made a huge save. ExEmpleados Asociados's Raimundo Tibalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Bartoli in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Israel Tebaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Ledesma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Leoiar in the 96th minute.
